标准2025如今的知识经济，在正规国家教育体系之外，还需要具备多种培训和学习服务。新标准的目的不仅在于帮助教育提供商改善服务，也在于促进其在国际市场上获得认可和信誉。
ISO 29993 正规教育以外的学习服务—服务要求旨在通过提供国际商定的质量学习服务水平的最低标准，以提高市场透明度和信誉。
制定标准的技术委员会是ISO/TC 232，其秘书处是由ISO的德国成员——德国标准化协会（DIN）承担。ISO/TC 232主席Daniel Graf指出：“教育提供者通过提高服务质量，制定实施国际公认的标准来协调地方、私人以及国家标准。不仅如此，学习者也能获取更清晰明确的信息来匹配自身期望。”
“ISO 29993认识到学习者知情权选择权的重要性，所以要求服务提供者所提供的内容中，需有明确信息告诉他们预期学习的内容，以及由谁提供教学。”
Learning from the best: a new standard for education providers
Today’s knowledge economy requires diverse training and learning services beyond the formal, national education system. A new standard aims to not only help providers improve their service, but provide recognition and credibility on the international market.
ISO 29993 Learning services outside formal education – Service requirements is designed to improve transparency and credibility in the market by providing the minimum requirements for internationally agreed levels of quality learning services.
Daniel Graf, chair of ISO/TC 232, the ISO technical committee that developed the standard, whose secretariat is held by DIN, ISO’s member for Germany, said: “Not only will learning providers benefit through improving quality and providing an internationally recognized standard that harmonizes many local, private and national standards, learners themselves benefit through having clearer information about what they can expect.
“ISO 29993 recognizes the importance of learners being able to make informed choices, by requiring the provider to give clear information about what they can expect to learn, and who the provider is.”
